600 Graduate From IPMC

IPMC College of Technology has held its 7th graduation ceremony on the theme, “Raising entrepreneurs for 21st century job market- the role of Private Institutions.”

A total of 600 students graduated in various courses, including Bachelor of Science in IT, Advance International diploma in professional system engineering, database technology, software engineering and graphics and web designing.

Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Raw-lings, addressing the ceremony, commended IPMC for its contribution to the development of ICT education in the contry.

She noted that as the country’s population continued to increase and state institutions struggled to admit more students, it was welcoming for institutions such as IPMC to continue to provide options for tertiary education.

She reminded private tertiary institutions on the need to focus on creativity so as to harness the entrepreneurial talents of the youth, adding that “ it is the responsibility of institutions to encourage creativity and innovation in their students.”

“Let us offer the opportunity to create new products, IT language and concepts that are designed to meet the needs of our local market,” she added.

Mrs. Rawlings congratulated the graduating students for their achievement, and urged them to utilise the knowledge they had gained for national and personal development.

Mr Amar Deep S. Hari, Chief Executive Officer of IPMC, gave the assurance that the, college would continue to pursue its objective of producing the next generation of IT experts equipped with the latest technologies to support national progress.
