TWO students of Presbyterian Boys-Legon and Adisadel College respectively have won the Azumah Nelson Foundation educational scholarship.

They are Masters Okeley Tetteh Frank of Presec and Bismark Boakye of Adisco.

On Thursday July 9, and in front of his colleagues, Master Tetteh Frank, a form two student of Presec was adjudged the best during Azumah’s youth empowerment tour in the Greater Accra Region .

The students, drawn from Accra Academy, Accra Girls, Labone and St Thomas Aquinas gathered at the Presbyterian Boys School.

The boxing legend wrapped up the 1st edition of ‘Time with the Professor’ on Friday July 10 in Cape Coast where the boys prefect of Adisadel College, Master Bismark Boakye, stood tall amongst his peers to win the one-year educational scholarship.itorium to listen to the touching message from the iconic boxing figure.

The scene in Cape Coast was exciting as over 14 schools including Mfantsipm, St Augustines College, Adisadel College, Christ the King, Mfantsiman Girls, Holy Child, Ghana National College, Morrie, Edinaman SHS amongst others filled the main hall of Aggrey Memorial A.M.E Zion school to catch a glimpse and listen to the three-time WBC Super featherweight champion of the world.

‘Time with the Professor’ series took Azumah Nelson to four regions including Greater Accra, Eastern, Ashanti and Central Regions as he interacted with students, sharing his experiences which made him the WBC greatest Super featherweight of all-time.

During the four-week tour, Azumah inspired the students with his moving story which evolved around dedication, commitment, discipline and perseverance and encouraged students to aspire to greater heights in their chosen fields of endeavours by imbibing such tenets.

Azumah Nelson rose from obscurity to international fame as a result of determination, staying focus, character, discipline and mental fortitude amongst other positive traits and these and more are what he intends to share with the young generation.
