Two soldiers and a civilian driver of the Ghana Armed Forces were killed when the vehicle in which they were travelling, crashed at Peki Dzake in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region, on Saturday.
They were on board a Toyota Hiace vehicle, with registration number 14 GA 96, which collided head-on with a passenger Benz bus on the Asikuma Junction-Kpeve stretch of the road.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Jonas Kofi Agbevam, Peki District Commander, said the military vehicle was heading towards Asikuma Junction when the driver, whose name was given as Francis Amofa Adjaben, lost control and the vehicle crashed into the passenger bus.
He said the driver of the passenger car, Samuel Akuffo, is at the Peki Government Hospital receiving treatment.
Others who had minor injuries were treated and discharged.
