First Atlantic Bank has donated assorted items to the Maternity Unit of the Tema Polyclinic as part of the bank’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The donation, which was also to demonstrate the bank’s commitment to its social responsibility, included a commercial washing machine, ultrasound dopplers, delivery sets and a quantity of beddings.
Mr. Ebow Quayson, Group Head for Retail Banking, presenting the items, noted that as part of the celebration, the bank is reaching out to all of its host communities.
“We have come this far because of our customers and we believe there is no better time to give back than now,” he stressed.
Mr. Quayson commended the staff of the Polyclinic for their dedication to duty and assured them of the bank’s continuous support.
Dr. Sally Quartey, Senior Medical Officer and Head of the unit, who received the items, expressed appreciation to the bank for the timely assistance, adding that they have been in need of such equipment for a long time.
