Pay Attention To Quality – Ghanaian Manufacturers Told

??????????The Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) marketing woman for the year 2013 and Chief Executive Officer for Reroy Cables, Mrs. Kate Quartey Papafio has blamed the inability of some Ghanaian products to meet international standards on the refusal of manufacturers to attention to quality.

She said if steps were not taken to address the issue of quality, products from the country would be treated as inferior to competitors.

Speaking to the media here she said the country had the needed human resource to produce competitive products and stressed the need for a collective effort to make Ghanaian products competitive.

Mrs. Papafio called on government to deepen the local content in the local industry as well as support the local industries to reduce unemployment and increase the nation’s foreign exchange earnings.

She also encouraged the public to patronize made in Ghana products saying “we need to work hard to “buy Ghana and build Ghana” for our own good because we have all it takes to do this.”

She dedicated her award to the women of Ghana and her management for their support over the years.
