OLA marks 65th Speech and Prize Day

THE 65TH anniversary speech and prize giving day of the OLA SHS Ho ended on a glorious note on the campus a fortnight ago.

The event was hosted by the 1993 – 95 year group of the Past OLA Girls Association (POGA).

The theme was, “Empowering our future women leaders through structured and purposeful education – 65 years on”.

Next year’s event will be hosted by the 1994-96 year group.

The 1994-96 group, led by their president, Miss Stella Abrokwah presented musical instruments valued at GH¢ 60,000 to the school during the celebration.

She gave the assurance that next year’s speech and prize giving day would be extra grand.

In a related development, the Global President of POGA, Madam Gina Doamekpor led other members of the association to present a huge consignment of edibles, detergents and clothes to the Cured Lepers Village at Ho.
