‘Longrich provides jobs for 60,000 Ghanaians’

About 60,000 Ghanaians have gained employment with the introduction of Longrich International, a conglomerate with a focus on the development, production, and provision of health products.

The employment is through the multiple level marketing (MLM) chain, which involves permanent workers, retailers, distributors, and marketers.

Mr Andrews Cudjoe Asare, the Country Director of Longrich International, said this when Mr Leon Li, the President of Longrich International, paid a working visit to Ghana to interact with distributors, business partners and executives of the company.

He said since the establishment of the company in the country about four years ago, the company continued to contribute immensely to the economic development of the country through the payment of tax revenue.

Mr Asare stated that the company plans to invest more in the development of the human resource capacity in technical areas in the Ghanaian partners, far enough to take up supervisory and managerial roles in and across Africa.

Mr Li announced that as part of the company’s move to expand its market it would soon establish a manufacturing plant in Ghana to serve the Ghanaian and other West African markets.

The President said the intention of the company was to use Ghana as a base to enter and serve other West Africa markets because the country was one of the fastest growing economies in Africa, and gateway to Africa.

“China is ready and prepared to invest more in Ghana to help boost the economy and create employment for the youth,” Li said.

The President said Longrich this year, would introduce new products to the company’s existing products portfolio and mentioned some of the products as energy drinks, baby diapers, perfumes, and herbal products.

Mr Nicholas Owusu, a captain of the company, said the company was going to invest in the Ghanaian local rice production, to create additional employment and as well as to cut down on the importation of rice into the country.

Mr Austin Gamey, a Longrich Super Stockist for Sierra Leone, said the company would continue to provide a healthy, quality and beautiful lifestyle to all the families around the world.
