“ANUONYAM” SECOND EDITION HELD IN ACCRA

A true reflection of the Lord’s glory, as its theme suggested, was exactly what patrons of the second edition of “ANUONYAM” experienced last Sunday at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Emmanuel Congregation-Djaman.

The worship concert which brought together seasoned music ministers including upcoming contemporary gospel sensation, RAJ, known in private life as Richardson Adjei and the ever vivacious praise group, KINGZPRAIZ ,thrilled audience with uplifting songs to thank the Lord for the end of the first quarter.

Held on the theme; “Your Name be the Glory”, host choir, Emmanuel Voices, adorned in their white angelic apparels with a touch of African print, proved their mettle with renditions of melodious tunes which got audience agog for the Lord in the three and half hour programme.

The peak of the night was when the group cut a beautifully designed cake to mark its fifth anniversary with the Catechist in-charge of the congregation, Mrs Constance Ntow-Amoah charging members to aspire for higher heights in the coming years.

In a sermon, a presbyter of the church, Mr Frederick Yartey cautioned Christians against ingratitude, an act which was likely to cause one’s downfall.

“When all is going well with you, be careful to show appreciation to God because the moment you become ungrateful, it means you are telling God you can survive on your own and can do all things by yourself,” he warned.

Some members who shared their impression on the programme with the Times Weekend already envisaged a much explosive concert next year and expressed that they could not wait.
